GDGT – Find And Discuss Great Gadgets

ss-gdgt

GDGT is a gadget database with a social side. Founded by Gizmodo and Engadget greats Peter Rojas and Ryan Block, it’s a community led gadget site, where any member can add and edit information. You don’t have to be a member of the site to use the extremely useful gadget finder, which updates automatically with each new selection you make. However, if you want to take advantage of other features, signing up is as simple as completing a form without leaving the page you are on.

While the number of products is limited at the moment, the information on those products is extremely useful. This includes both a product overview and a linked discussion section covering everything from tips and tricks to thorny technical issues. Whatever the problem, there’s sure to be a gadget lover on site who can help you to solve it.

This is a great site both for those who want to discuss the gadgets they already have and for those who want to find new gadgets as toys or gifts. What’s more, the site is very fast and easy to navigate, so it’s simple to find the information you need. Add to that features on gadgets and debates on gadget-related issues, and you have an almost perfect gadget site.

Practical Uses:

  • Get the inside scoop on the phone you are thinking of trying

  2. GDGT is great because of the huge number of people who actually own the products on the site and they are passionate about giving reviews to the products. The site has improved greatly since 2 years ago and it is becoming more popular. Though there were only a few product categories initially, more have been added, and the number of user inputs in the site has made it much better.
