Fiesta – Create Private Group Mailing Lists

Businesses, clubs, sports teams, and even large families rely on group emails to ensure everyone stays in the loop with regard to the time, date, and location of important events. Fiesta is a free tool that groups can use to create and manage their online mailing lists with minimal effort.

If you’ve ever tried to create a group mailing list before, then you know how many tools and applications are available to choose from. Fiesta separates itself from the pack by making it as easy as possible for people to set up and maintain the private email lists they create. Enter your name and email address to start a new group, and then add the email addresses of all the people you’d like to include. You can add these addresses by visiting the Fiesta website, or from within your email inbox. To add addresses from inside your inbox, just send an email to the members of your list and make sure to CC the special email address Fiesta provides. Each member you add can manage the list on his or her own, which decreases the number of requests the list creator typically gets when people want to subscribe and unsubscribe.

Advanced users who understand the basics of markdown can use plustags to make changes to their email lists from within their email inboxes, as well. For example, users can unsubscribe from any list by adding +unsubscribe when they email the list address, or get information about other Fiesta lists they subscribe to by adding a +info tag. Fiesta group emails are always ad-free, which makes this a fantastic tool for all types of groups to use when sending emails to their members.
