DoAttend is an online event registration system set up directly for event managers and party planners. The feature-packed application has all the tools to let users create, promote, and track the guests who’ve registered to attend their events online. Even better, there is no cost for users organizing free gatherings, and only a nominal fee for those collecting paid registrations from event attendees.
In order to use DoAttend, you’ll have to create a new event. Enter a name, description, venue information, date, and time, and your event page will be published using a unique URL provided by DoAttend. From that point, you’ll need to create a custom registration form for guests, and design your own tickets for attendees to print out before showing up at the door. For bigger events, you can choose specific registration types and even collect registration fees from those who are planning to attend. Once that has been set up, you’re ready to go—DoAttend will help you send out invitations from within its site, and you can even promote the event by linking up with various social networking sites to draw an even bigger crowd.
When potential attendees check out your event site, they can register, pay online if necessary, and download their tickets to be printed out in an instant. They can also click to add the event to their Google, Yahoo, Outlook, or iCal calendar, and view a map with directions to the venue location. Event organizers can then track how many people have registered to attend, and even export that information into a .csv file. For busy event organizers and party planners, DoAttend is an amazing system that can streamline the process of planning major conferences and events.
