CoboCards – Ace Your Next Exam

Paper flashcards can be so static. With a small amount of space to write and very few ways to collaborate with classmates, standard flashcards can limit your ability to study effectively for an upcoming test or exam. Luckily, CoboCards offers a different way to study. CoboCards’ online flashcards can be rewritten and edited as many times as you wish, and shared with friends at the click of a button. The application also tracks your progress when studying with the cards, and lets you know how many answers you’ve gotten right and wrong during each study session.

To begin studying with CoboCards, you have to make your first set of flashcards. Start typing in your flashcard questions and answers, or import the information directly from a previously created document. Include photos or graphs to better illustrate the information you need to know, and add formatting elements like colored text or tables to make your flashcards even easier to understand. Drag and drop the flashcards in any given set to change up the order that they appear, and click the circle in the top right corner of each card to differentiate the flashcards you know from those you still need to learn. When it comes time to study, you can elect to only view the cards you still haven’t memorized, rather than wasting time on the cards with information you’ve already learned.

Study sessions can become virtual events when you’re using CoboCards, since all you need to do to start studying with your friends is to create a new online group. CoboCards will show one flashcard simultaneously to each study group participant, to be discussed via a Skype audio connection or using the chat room feature on the right side of the page. CoboCards also offers a number of printable templates that students can use when printing out their online flashcards to study offline, along with an activity feed and commenting feature that lets groups of users leave feedback on each other’s cards. For students who learn best in a collaborative environment, CoboCards has created an excellent way to study as a group without having to leave your own home.
