Clientr – Take Control of Your Deals

Clientr is an application focused on helping users keep better track of their clients and projects. Aimed at small businesses and teams of colleagues, Clientr offers a birds eye view of what’s going on with any client, at any time. The app divides all of a company’s business into three main sections—dashboard, deals, and clients. Within each section are sortable lists that colleagues can use to store contact information, update project statuses, and leave notes about what to expect when working with certain clients.

Small businesses that need a better way to manage clients can sign up with Clientr and start getting organized within a matter of minutes. From the dashboard page, you’ll see a list of everything that’s going on within your company. If you’ve logged on to see what’s going on with a particular client, head over to the client section to see everyone your company is currently working with. Underneath each client’s name is contact information, along with details about which projects they’ve commissioned. Click on the name of any of those projects and head over to the deals section, where you can get detailed information about all of your company’s projects and ongoing deals. Coworkers can leave status updates next to certain project names, as a way to let each other know about the latest developments or upcoming tasks that need to be handled, or check out the details tab to read even more information about the project or task.

Because Clientr features drag and drop functionality, lists can be sorted and rearranged as many times as you’d like. In addition, it’s easy to check out the history of any project to see all the updates that have been put into the system over time. For small groups looking for a simple way to communicate better when working together on projects and tasks, Clientr is an application that couldn’t be any easier to use.

Practical Uses:

  • Stay organized when working on multiple projects at once
  • Find out which members of your team are planning on handling which tasks
  • Leave comments for colleagues on how to work with particularly difficult clients
  • Find contact information for every client in one place

Insider Tips:

  • Sort projects by pending or active deals
  • Drag and drop lists to arrange in any way you wish
  • Click on the history tab to see all the past details about a particular project
  • Create short descriptions of each task, to go along with the client name and project title

What we liked:

  • Easy to rearrange lists to better suit the needs of your company
  • Users won’t get overwhelmed by having too many features to choose from
  • Status messages are an easy way to leave notes for colleagues that anyone can see
  • Client contact page includes information about which projects they have commissioned

What we didn’t like:

  • Clientr may have too few functions for some companies looking for a new project management system
  • Pricing structure limits the number of active deals for businesses with very few employees
