Moovee.me is an application that aims to make the process of deciding which movie to watch a little bit easier. By offering micro-reviews and plot summaries of all the latest films posted by users just like you, the site takes the hassle out of figuring out which movie to check out next. Moovee.me also takes the interactive element a step further, by letting you add your own opinions to the site, and encouraging users to review as many movies as possible in order to share their knowledge with other users who are interested in film.
Although you can start reading reviews on Moovee.me without signing up for an account, the real fun doesn’t start until you’ve gone ahead and joined. Active users can type the name of any movie title, artist, genre, or fellow user into the search box on the main page and receive a list of films that meet that description. Click on the movie you were thinking of and you can instantly start typing your own review—just be careful about the words you use, since Moovee.me limits its users’ reviews to 140 characters or less. After typing in a review and giving the movie a rating of one to five stars, your review will go up on the site instantly. You can also read other people’s reviews, or find out more information about any film by checking out the film summary with casting information and release dates on the left hand side of the page.
If you’re more interested in learning about new movies than posting about the film’s you’ve already seen, then get started exploring and reading the micro-reviews everyone else has posted. You can view a list of the most recently reviewed movies, and add any films that look good to your Moovee.me Wishlist as a way to remind yourself to check them out later. If you like the way a particular review was written, click on the reviewer’s username and see a list of all the reviews he or she has posted on the site. You can then decide to “follow” the person to receive instant notification whenever he or she has posted something new. For movie lovers, Moovee.me is an interesting way to stay up-to-date on all the newest releases at the box office.
