Splarchive – Save, Search, and Store PDF Files

Everyone could use a little more space, especially when it comes to online document storage. Luckily, Splarchive is a web-app that anyone can use to archive their files in a PDF format online. Once they’re archived, files can be searched for and retrieved on many different platforms, which makes it easy to get access to a document on the go from a mobile phone or an iPad.

If you can upload and attach a document to an email, then you should be able to start using Splarchive without any learning curve. New accounts come with 20mb of free space, so your storage needs shouldn’t be an issue from the get-go. The web-app actually takes your Word Document, Excel, and PowerPoint files and converts them into universal PDFs. This makes them both easy to preserve and easy to search for when it comes time to access those files in the future. Splarchive is “platform agnostic,” which means your PDF documents can be accessed and downloaded no matter what new hardware comes out or what new file formats come into style. Documents that are stored with Splarchive are encrypted in a way that makes them so safe and private that even Splarchive can’t access them without first obtaining your approval.

For business users, Splarchive offers an upgraded Pro plan that comes with cloud migration, cloud backup, and custom software services. Companies that use Google Apps, Apple, or Microsoft for business purposes can sign up for Splarchive as a way to make their current archiving and storage systems run even more efficiently. Splarchive can be especially useful for doctors and other professionals who want to store patient records online without losing ownership, control, or possession of their most vital data.
