Ourspot – Collect Memories With Friends & Partners

Ourspot is like Pinterest for couples. The photo-sharing site was developed specifically to give friends and loved ones a way to share and save images that spark memories and excitement. Rather than sharing these images with the world at large, Ourspot users share their saved images only with other members of their closest personal groups.

If you want a more private, personal alternative to Pinterest, then a trip to Ourspot.com is in order. Enter your name, email address, and a password to create an account, then create a new “spot” based on a particular relationship or memory you have. To save images to your spot, you can copy/paste an image link into the Ourspot toolbar or use the free bookmarklet tool to grab photos from any site you come across. The spots that you create can contain photos, notes, and links to all the mementos that matter most to you and your friends. More personal spots can be kept private, while public spots are open to the world at large.

If you’re unsure of what to post on your spot and looking for inspiration, Ourspot has got you covered. Click the Ourspot “Inspiration” button to scroll through all the most inspiring photos posted on the site at any given time. When you find an image that seems special, you can add it to your spot or “like” it by clicking the heart in the upper left-hand corner. You can also leave a comment on the image, or share it with friends on Google+, Twitter, or Facebook.

Practical Uses:

  • Save all the images that remind you of your boyfriend
  • Build a joint spot where you and your best friend can post photos of your favorite movies and books
  • Post pictures of fun places you want to visit with your friends
  • Create a private wall with inspiring quotes that only your partner can see
