Adioso – Intuitive Travel Search

ss-adioso
Adioso is a travel search and booking application that works like human’s do, not computers. With total flexibility in mind, the web-based platform makes it easy for users to search for flights without knowing where they are going or when they are planning to go.

Sometimes price is the most important factor when making a decision on where to go for vacation, and other times the destination itself isn’t nearly as important as the activities you plan to do once you get there. For example, if you want to visit the Caribbean for a week in June, but you’re not set on the specific island or dates, just search for “Caribbean in June for 7 days.” Adioso will show you all the options that are out there. Narrow down the choices by filtering the results based on the length of the trip or the number of stops along the way. You can even eliminate search results from certain airlines that you’d prefer not to fly. The result is a curated list of the very best flight options for almost any trip.

For regular users, Adioso offers a number of incredibly useful advanced features. Users can set price alerts to find out immediately whenever the fare on a certain route goes below a pre-determine threshold. The platform’s “fly to your friends” feature even uses Facebook connections to let users see which flights are available to visit their friends who don’t live nearby.

Practical Uses:

  • Find out when a flight to Miami drops below $200
  • Get ideas for where to go on an upcoming beach vacation
  • See which days in June are the cheapest to fly to Europe
  • Search for deals on flights to visit your friends who live abroad

Insider Tips:

  • Filter out specific airlines you don’t wish to fly with
  • Hover over any element on a flight result to trigger Adioso’s filtering tool
  • Connect Adioso to your Facebook account to activate the “fly to your friends” feature
  • Participate in “Adioso Academy” to learn how to find the best flights for any route
