Professional athletes have leaderboards, so why shouldn’t professional accountants, engineers, and developers have a ranking system of their own? ROIKOI is a web-based application that does just that, providing professionals in all industries with a way to anonymously rate their colleagues and see how their own standings stack up against other people in their companies, cities, and professional fields.
Connect to ROIKOI through Facebook, and the application will scan through your list of friends looking for people who you should rate. ROIKOI’s peer voting system is completely anonymous, so your colleagues and friends will never know that you’re the one who added a rating using the metric of “Hire,” “Skip,” or “Fire.” With ROIKOI, there’s no option to leave comments or feedback, so there’s no reason anyone should get his or her feelings hurt. After you’ve scored your contacts, get ready to see your own personal ROIKOI ranking. If you’ve cracked the top half of your personal leaderboard, ROIKOI will post your ranking publicly for you and the rest of the world to see. Otherwise, your score will remain locked for the time being.
As you use ROIKOI more, you can join new leaderboards and see where you rank across your company, city, or field. You can also share ROIKOI with colleagues as a way to boost your own score and ensure your photo shows up when people browse leaderboards in their own areas. ROIKOI is a fantastic way to discover professionals who’d be great to work with, based not just on resumes and professional skills, but on the impressions of the colleagues who’ve worked with them before.
