Composr – Collaboration Tools for Musicians

ss-composr
Composr is a web-based collaboration application designed specifically for musicians. Using a combination of mobile and in-browser audio recording tools, musicians are able to record songs with friends and colleagues located around the globe.

Composr offers a way for musicians to collaborate on music outside the recording studio. Create a free account or login to the app through Facebook, and click the “Record” button to begin. Once you’ve started recording your song, any collaborators you’ve selected can remotely access your audio file and add their own tracks through the Composr application. You’ll receive an immediate notification when a collaborator’s addition has been saved, and you can review it through the mobile app or inside your desktop browser. As the owner of the song, you retain full control over which contributions make the final cut. Any additions you don’t like can be discarded at will.

For musicians who prefer working as a team, Composr is an application that can really open doors. The platform includes a number of advanced features and tools like metronome volume controls. Featured songs are also available for immediate streaming through Composr’s online community.
