The goal of Present.ly, a new app from Intridea, is to provide its users with a fast, easy way to communicate via the web. It works much like Twitter, with a few notable and necessary differences. Their target audience is the business world, so all communication—though efficient—is also private between members of the group. It’s taking Twitter, tweaking it slightly, and sending it out into the business world—and we love the results.
In addition to its efficiency and privacy, Present.ly allows users to share video, pictures, and audio clips with their coworkers. The group messaging feature means users can share information with one another quicker and easier than ever before, making it an excellent solution for business’s looking to streamline communication.
In short, Present.ly is a great way for employees to access information quickly. Users can segment groups so that some people have access to certain portions of the site that others do not, and it doesn’t require that users have the same email domain. Present.ly is compatible with a variety of web browsers and platforms and—last but not least—the interface is mobile, making it convenient to use anytime, anywhere.
