Most people have two online personas – the busy professional who collaborates and communicates with colleagues, and fun-loving friend who posts vacation photos and socializes with buddies. Tracky is a social collaboration application that merges those two personas into one and brings together its users’ personal and professional lives online.
Using Tracky is free, and getting started is as simple as entering in your email address. Once you’ve created an account or logged in through an existing social network, you can start creating “tracks” for all the events you’ve got going on in your social and professional life. Create one track to organize an upcoming family reunion, a second track for a client presentation, and a third track for all the home improvement projects you’ve been meaning to tackle. Describe each track in a few words or sentences, and upload deadlines or attachments when necessary. Tracky lets you choose which colleagues or friends can view and comment on the tracks you’re working on, which is especially helpful for projects that require team collaboration.
In addition to its collaboration and communication features, Tracky also offers a calendar system, milestone tracking, and cloud storage. People who prefer turning their work assignments into games can even assign points to colleagues for completing selected tasks and assignments on time.
