Iconify – Build an Elegant Portfolio

When a potential employer looks at a job applicant’s professional portfolio, he or she is looking at more than just the artwork or designs the portfolio contains. The quality of the portfolio itself is important, as well. A shoddy portfolio that looks like it’s been slapped together quickly can leave an extremely poor impression. Iconify is a web application that designers and artists can use to build stylish, interactive, and responsive online portfolios.

Join more than 9,000 other designers by creating your own portfolio with Iconify. Select the web address where your portfolio will appear, and then get to work designing a portfolio that’s all your own. Iconify lets you choose the theme, add separate folders for each category of your work, and add images within each of those folders. When a potential client clicks on an uploaded image, that image will fill the page regardless of the size of the screen he or she is working on. Iconify automatically resizes all portfolio pages, which means portfolios look the same whether they’re being viewed on mobile phones, tablets, or desktop PCs.

Any professional information that a potential client would need to get in contact with you (like your email address or phone number) is listed discreetly on the left-hand side of the main portfolio page. Iconify portfolios can easily be downloaded as mobile apps, or they can be shared on social networks like Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr. Iconify also offers a number of analytics tools that people can use to see where the traffic to their portfolios is coming from, and to track whether that traffic has increased or decreased over time.
