Everplans is a web-application that’s thought of all the details. Focused on end-of-life care and estate planning, Everplans is a complete resource for people who’d like to make sure their estates are taken care of after their deaths.
Everplans’ “Everplans” are A-to-Z plans that go into detail about everything that should happen in the event of your death. Follow Everplans’ prompts to create your own custom plan, making sure to complete a personalized to-do list that may include items as large as writing a will or as small as designating a loved one to cancel your cable account after your departure. Upload any associated documents to a secure web-based “vault,” and then share your completed Everplan with the “deputies” you’ve selected. Deputies are the loved ones you’ve chosen to share your plan details with, and they’re often the people who will be responsible for implementing your wishes after your death.
One of Everplans’ many add-on features is Funeral Update, a free service that helps users create funeral websites to keep friends and family informed about plans after a loved one’s death. Everplans also offers a number of guides and articles to help its users with end-of-life planning issues that fall outside the scope of their official plans.
